What are the Bylaws?

The Bylaws define how the Oakwood Lakes Community Association is organized and operated as part of a planned community within the governmental areas in which we live (City of Chandler, County of Maricopa, State of Arizona).  The Bylaws are a part of our overall Governing Documents that, in addition to the Bylaws, include the CC&Rs, Articles of Incorporation, and Association Rules and Regulations.  For a more detailed explanation of the Governing Documents, please see the link below.

The Bylaws are contained in a single file that is the original document that was formally adopted by the Board of Directors on 2/08/96.  The file also contains an amendment formally adopted by the General Membership at the Annual General Membership Meeting on 6/15/99 in order to establish staggered terms of office for directors of the Association.
